His heroics including 43 points and 4 assists in the final weren't quite enough however. Long Beach's PF Gavin Wanganeen (76p 35r) and SF Kit Valentine (72p) both had 21+ points in each game of the tournament and eventually prevailled in another high scoring OT affair between these divisional rivals.

		+	Olympia's starters were simply dominant from start to finish. 4 of their 5 starters scored in double digits in every game. The last still had 40 points for the tournament. That balance was simply too much. The other big story from the tournament was the early upsets in the other half of the bracket as Salem and Carson City knocked off Salt Lake City and Long Beach respectively to set up a 6 plays 8 semi-final. Salem's last 2 trips to the tourney's semi final round came in seasons 61 and 50. It was Salem's first Conference Tourney Final Appearance since season 41.
